About Rutledge, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Rutledge is a city located in Morgan County, Georgia, and it is home to about 800 residents. The community is surrounded by cotton fields, and the historic district remains virtually unchanged since the heyday of the railroad. Rutledge is found about three miles from I-20 and is a great place for visitors to stop and grab a meal while traveling down the interstate. Rutledge is also part of the Covington, GA movie industry.

Rutledge offers outdoor entertainment, interesting restaurants, and quaint shops all within a short walk of the town park. The Caboose, which is the last remaining railroad car in Rutledge, is a popular place to grab a deli-style sandwich, and Lilybeth’s Gift Shop offers specialty merchandise and gifts in a historic downtown building. Outdoor enthusiasts may enjoy camping, fishing, or hiking at Hard Labor Creek State Park, and the Sunflower Farm hosts an annual sunflower festival just outside of town.

The climate of Rutledge is extremely humid, and during the summer months this humidity will combine with high temperatures in excess of 90 degrees. It is crucial for area residents to have access to a place to spend their time that is cool and comfortable when these weather conditions set in. A home equipped with a central air conditioner will provide a much-needed reprieve to the heat, and newer models will help people with allergies and respiratory conditions by improving air quality.

Winter weather in Rutledge tends to be mild with average high temperatures that reach the 50s, so homes will still need to be heated. Overnight lows can fall well below the freezing point, so a heat pump or furnace is a necessity to keep your family safe and your home warm. The area also sees a few inches of snow per year, and when combined with freezing temperatures, dangerous conditions can result indoors and outdoors.
