About Greensboro, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Home to about 3,500 residents, Greensboro, Georgia is the county seat of Greene County. This historic community was founded in around 1780, and it was first incorporated as a town in 1803. In 1855, it was incorporated into a city. Today, the community is rich in Southern tradition and history, and it features elegant old homes and churches. The downtown area is lined with historic buildings with shops that offer jewelry, gifts, clothing, and antiques, attracting a variety of visitors to the area.

Visitors to Greensboro have a plethora of activities and attractions from which they can choose. The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds is located here, and it offers an award-winning spa. Golf enthusiasts have several courses to choose from in the area, including the National Golf Course, the Oconee Golf Course, and the Plantation Golf Course. Antique hunters might also like to check out the bargains at the Greensboro Antique Mall or the Litha Moon Gallery.  The weather in Greensboro is a major selling point for both visitors and people who might be interested in moving to the area. The hottest months are July and August when average daily highs reach the low-90s. While this makes outdoor recreation plentiful, humidity levels tend to be high, making the air feel even warmer than thermostat readings might suggest. For this reason, it is important to have a cool place to retreat in order to escape dangerously high heat, and a reliable air conditioning unit can be a literal lifesaver.

While summers are long, these hot conditions don’t last year-round. During the winter, average daily highs tend to only reach the 50s, and some nights, low temperatures can fall below the freezing point. Without a reliable heat pump or furnace, indoor conditions could become dangerously cold. Not only could this put your health and wellness in jeopardy, but your home’s pipes and plumbing could also be at risk of damage.
